No advertising trackers

Comrent uses optional Google Analytics to understand website use. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising, cross-site tracking or the sale of browsing profiles.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They can keep a session secure, remember preferences or help a website understand whether it is working correctly. Browser storage, such as localStorage, performs similar functions but is not automatically sent with every web request.

2. Technologies Comrent may use

CategoryPurposeChoice

PreferencesRemembering settings or workspace choices on your device.May be cleared in your browser
Local storageSupporting performance, drafts or device-level preferences where a feature needs them.May be cleared in your browser
AnalyticsGoogle Analytics helps us understand visits, page use and the performance of the marketing website.Optional

3. Current marketing website

The Comrent marketing website uses Google Analytics 4 after you accept analytics. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and maintain session information. We use the resulting information to understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance.

We configure advertising storage and personalisation as denied. We do not use the website analytics tag for retargeting or personalised advertising.

4. The Comrent application

The application may use essential session and security cookies to keep users signed in and protect account activity. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features from working. The application may also use browser storage for settings or performance-related functions.

5. What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Cross-site tracking networks.
  • Third-party social media tracking pixels.
  • Device fingerprinting as a substitute for cookies.

6. Managing browser data

When you first visit the website, you can accept analytics or continue without it. Your selection is saved in local storage for that browser and device. You can reset the choice by clearing site data in your browser.

You can also view, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting essential session data will usually sign you out, and blocking it may stop parts of Comrent from functioning.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this page if the technologies Comrent uses materially change. Questions about cookies can be sent to office@oioilab.ai.
